Server logs

This site is served as static files by Jonas Pasche (Uberspace), Kaiserstr. 15, 55116 Mainz, Germany, who acts as our processor with whom we maintain a Data Processing Agreement under Art. 28 GDPR. Each request produces one log line holding a shortened IP address — only the first 16 bits of an IPv4 address and the first 32 bits of an IPv6 address are recorded, the remainder nulled — plus the time, the requested path, the HTTP status, the response size, and the user agent and referrer your browser sends. We process this to deliver the site and to defend it against attack: our legitimate interest in a functioning, secure website, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Logs rotate daily and are deleted after seven days. They are never combined with other data or used to identify you.

Email

If you write to us, we process your message and your address to answer it — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where it concerns a contract or its initiation, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f). We keep correspondence as long as the matter and statutory retention periods require, then delete it.

Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21).
